The French pair of Aurélien Comte and Sylvain Pussier will compete in the Kumho TCR World Tour-TCR Italian Festival joint event that will be held on June 9/11 at Vallelunga’s Autodromo Piero Taruffi.
Comte and Pussier will drive the CUPRA Leon Competición cars run by SP Compétition they regularly race in the TCR Italy championship.
The event marks the return to international Touring Car competition for both drivers. Comte clinched the TCR Europe Trophy title in 2017 and then raced in the FIA WTCR, in which he scored a victory in 2018, and the TCR Europe series, while Pussier joined TCR Europe for the full season in 2021.
They are currently placed fifth and 23rd in the TCR Italy’s standings, with Comte claiming his best result at Misano where he finished second in Race 2.
