Estonian youngsters Mattias Vahtel and Ruben Volt will make a one-off appearance in the Kumho TCR World Tour with ALM Motorsport within the frame of the team’s cooperation with Honda Racing and JAS Motorsport.
Vahtel will take part in this weekend’s event at Vallelunga, while Volt will start next week at the Hungaroring. They will join Néstor Girolami at the wheel of the team’s second Honda Civic Type R FL5 that was driven by Philip Lindberg at Spa.
Vahtel said: "I'm looking forward to this weekend, it's a great opportunity for me as a driver. I want to make the most of my cooperation with Girolami, I am sure that together with the team we will be able to do well and at the same time we will also make history of Estonian motorsport."
Martin Laur, ALM Honda Racing Team Principal added: “I am extremely pleased that we can offer Mattias and Ruben the opportunity to compete in the TCR World Tour, and to measure themselves with the best drivers in the field and the best technology.
